The thyroid is a butterfly-shaped gland situated in the neck region.
In this, there are 2 types of thyroid, hyper and hypo. Hypothyroidism is caused due to underactive thyroid. An underactive thyroid can decrease or slow down bodily functions.
Whereas in hyperthyroidism you may find yourself with a lot more energy as opposed to less. You may also start losing weight.
The thyroid is mainly caused due to improper lifestyle choices. Hence incorporating the avav principles daily will help regulate the gland. Eat a healthy breakfast including nuts, dates and figs. Go light on dinner. In dinner, you can include soups, simple khichdi that will ease the process of digestion.

Make sure that you eat at least 3 hours before sleeping.
Vihar – Make sure you engage in some positive activities before sleeping.
Listening to some relaxing music or reading. Self-reflecting before sleep can be very helpful. Develop and inculcate new hobbies.
Achara – weight-bearing asanas and static asanas are very helpful for thyroid like chakras. Chakras in the evening, one should focus on stretching the body completely, asanas like talasan, parvatasan, yastik.
Asan helps to rejuvenate the body and mind. It is an attitude of hurry, haste, & negative self-talk which should be avoided.
