A brief background

Stranger Things captivated Netflix viewers when it debuted in 2016. The show is eet in the small town of Hawkins in the 1980s. The show begins with the disappearance of a kid named Will Byers. Researchers at Hawkins National Laboratory have opened a gate to the creepy Upside Down. They are experimenting on a group of children. One of those kids, known as Eleven, escapes and befriends Will’s gang. 

Two more seasons have shaken up the original gang. Hopper is seemingly dying (but somehow ending up in Russia), and Joyce Byers taking her own family. Eleven, and moving out of Hawkins. Season 4 is set in 1986.

Fourth Season release date

Stranger Things 4, is scheduled to be released worldwide exclusively via Netflix‘s streaming service in two volumes, with the first set for May 27, 2022, and the second five weeks later on July 1, 2022. 

Producer and Creators

The fourth season will have nine episodes. Show’s creators the Duffer Brothers will be producing the show. Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen, and Iain Paterson will accompany them.

Cast

All of the main cast members are set to return. They include Brown, Harbour, Matarazzo, Keery, Dyer, Sink, McLaughlin, Hawke, Wolfhard, Winona Ryder, Noah Schnapp, and more. But several new actors are joining the already extensive line-up this season.
