Bastar – Beyond Naxalism in Chhattisgarh\
When u talk about a trip, fancy exotic locations, luxurious stay, mouth-watering food comes into your mind. However, there are people who love to deal with challenges. Utkarsh Garg and Dheeraj Katara are from that clan.
They planned a trip, calling it a trip is not justice as it’s was full of educational stuff included as well as adventures. I boast of being a part of such a wonderful group. Forming a group of people from different walks of life, varied choices, ages, educational backgrounds,s, and versatile interests and taking them together is a challenging task. Challenge word itself attracts these young Turks of tomorrow. Alphaprenur in association with Tedx Pandri and Unexplored Bastar organized such an unforgettable 3 days trip to Bastar.
Some strangers found themselves in an unbreakable bond after completing the task. Yup you heard me right, trip was full of difficult tasks, like tracking through a dense rain forest, climbing a cliff, staying in a small tent despite heavy rain, crossing the river on a boat, completing all tasks in a limited time slot, tiresome conditions but little time to rest.
We embarked on this journey from Raipur, which headed to Dantewada, then Jagdalpur. Also, we attended Innovation Conference at both the cities, chaired by the DIG of Bastar  Mr. Sunderajan, Zila Panchayat CEO – Mr. Gaurav Singh, IAS, and Collector of Jagdalpur – Mr. Dewangan. We visited the ancient temple of Danteshwari Mata and other archaeological monuments and get to know the history of that place. We reached at 3,000 ft high to see Dholkal Ganesh Pratima and spent a night at Chitrakot Waterfall under the sky, also we experienced a warm welcome by the tribal there, who served us tribal food which was simple and amazing. We went to Tirathgarh Waterfall through Kanger Valley National Park.
It was great exposure for young entrepreneurs to interact with Government Officials and discuss innovation which is done in the private and public sectors of Bastar.
Bastar is changing, and the youth is continuously striving to improve the life of their native people. This trip was filled all the fellow travelers with pride and confidence. One most important things we got from this trip is that now we have a clearer vision of Bastar. It is pure and serene, and here nature is at its best.
One must visit Bastar, because “Chhattisgrah me Bastar nahi dekha to kya dekha!”
