DJ Marcelo- A guy from Dhamtari going places! Music was his first love since childhood, but never had he imagined that he would go on to make a thriving career in the field of music. Brought up in Dhamtari- a small town in Chhattisgarh, this guy named Tushar Soni had dreams like any other guy next door. To get a degree of MBA, he went to Delhi for his preparation of CAT. His ordinary routine just like any other MBA aspirant went on until his passion for music became visibly strong. A friend of Tushar in Delhi, recognized his steaming passion for music and his talent, and motivated him to get formal training as DJ. Inspired by the thought, Tushar went on to join SKRATCH Academy in Delhi, and there began Tushar’s journey of becoming the hotshot DJ Marcelo.
Initially, Tushar used to play DJ in various clubs, pubs, and private parties.But soon his career took a flight, when he participated in the War of DJs and secured second rank in the competition. And this achievement made him realize that he is made for the world of music, he was born to be a DJ to be precise! With every step towards his actual dream and passion, his popularity as ‘DJ Marcelo’ grew in the industry as well as among the party-lovers of the town. He is now working with a top music company, and he has done some great remixes such as AE DIL HAI MUSHKIL(PROGRESSIVE MIX),SHAPE OF YOU(MOOMBAHTON MIX) & many more chartbuster hits. Now he is all set to explore the bigger opportunities in his Singapore tour and rock the world with his exciting music.
Every journey towards dreams and passion comes with certain level of challenges, and Tushar aka DJ Marcelo also had to face his own set of problems. Initially, his family was not very supportive of the idea of him giving up his mainstream studies and taking up a not-so-popular choice of career as a DJ. But his passion, dedication and one achievement after the other compelled them to believe in his dreams and his potential. He has eventually landed in the country of million dreams, Singapore and dazzling the world with his talent.
About his future plans, Tushar aka DJ Marcelo says that he aims to become the best in the industry and entertain his audience with super-enthralling music, for the love and support of the audiences is what keeps him going and inspire him to do better than before. He dreams of glorifying the name of Chhattisgarh and India on global international platforms, and he has already started realizing his dream with this Singapore tour.
