Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone perfectly embodies the role of a double-crossing, morally ambiguous agent, but her chemistry with SRK feels underdeveloped. Although the background score doesn’t quite feel in sync with the scenarios, the overall effect is still impressive.

Dimple Kapadia also gives a standout performance, lending much-needed gravitas and emotional heft to the proceedings. Her sincerity is unmatched, and you wish the other characters could exude the same level of depth as her.
Pathaan reunites Karan and Arjun to give the audience an iconic whistle moment as Bhai meets the Badshah. While some of the dialogues are frivolous, the film has all the ingredients of a masala potboiler, including slow-mo entries, and an iconic battle of good versus evil.
