PAUL RUDD (ANT-MAN) OPENED UP HIS HEART WITH VIKAS KHANNA

Paul Rudd, the Hollywood star who has become popular after the release of the Ant-Man movie series, recently sat down with chef Vikas Khanna for a chat about his diet and his love for Indian cinema. During the conversation, Paul revealed that he followed a strict diet plan while preparing for his role in the movie. Paul cut off processed food and sugar and tried to stick to a routine of eating the same kinds of foods every day.

The conversation then shifted towards Indian cinema, and Paul shared that he had recently watched the film which has been submitted for Oscar consideration, RRR. He praised the film, saying that everyone loves it. Vikas also showed his enthusiasm towards two documentary films, The Elephant Whisperers and All That Breathes, which have also received Oscar nominations this year. He commended the independent filmmakers behind these movies for making a difference.

Vikas then recommended the famous Indian street food dish, vada pao, to Paul, suggesting that he should try it the next time he visits India. But the chef’s recommendations didn’t stop there. After recommending food Vikas turned his direction towards actors and for the next Marvel film, he suggested Shah Rukh Khan, one of India’s most popular actors, should be considered for a role in the franchise. Vikas emphasized that the Bollywood star has a massive fan base in India and would be a great addition to the Marvel Universe.

Paul and Vikas’s conversation highlight the growing interest and appreciation for Indian cinema in Hollywood. The Oscar nominations for RRR and the two documentary films show that Indian filmmakers are making an impact on the global stage. And with Vikas’s endorsement of Shah Rukh Khan, it’s clear that Indian actors are also gaining recognition and respect in the Western film industry.

Overall, Paul and Vikas’s chat showcases the importance of cultural exchange and the power of film to connect people from different parts of the world. As Hollywood continues to embrace Indian cinema, we can hope to see more collaborations and crossovers between these two thriving entertainment industries.
