Poonam Shetty : teacher for 17 years, became the Vice Principal of HHEA

Poonam says, “Never say you have a problem because every problem has a solution. Instead of thinking about the problem, think about the solution.” This is what today’s birthday personality teaches her students.

Being a teacher for 17 years, Mrs. Poonam Shetty, became the Vice Principal of Holy Hearts Educational Academy in the year 2011 and then the Principle of The Great India School in 2015.

She then worked in Mumbai for 15 months. She says that the achievement of her life is becoming a teacher who inspires her students to work on the right path. When her students achieve milestones, she feels utterly happy and proud of them.

She tells that every teacher wishes that their students remember every essential life lessons they provide them. The foremost teacher of her life is Late Mrs. Amrita Singh, who she says, made her who she is now. She made her a better teacher though she is no more.

Whenever she is a problem with any decision, she thinks about what Singh Ma’am would do, if in that situation, and eventually, she finds a way out. She also looks up to the teachings of Mother Teresa, and she inspires her to become a better human.

She likes reading books whenever she gets time. Her favorite genre is fiction, but she never minds trying new genres. She puts all her faith in God and knows that he will never do wrong if you are following the right path.

Right now she is in Bengaluru for six months, but when she was in Mumbai, and whenever her students, who were studying in Mumbai came to meet her, made her think that, yes she has done well in her life.
