Meet Ankita Andhere, a tribal researcher.
Bought up in Raipur, she did her graduation and post-graduation in sociology. She started research for the sake to built up her CV, and when she started doing it, she found that there are so many things that she didn’t know about her tribal culture and people.Tribal Researcher Ankita

By researching, she says that she gains knowledge of the culture and roots and make more sense of where she belongs. She also gets the idea of how the development, what we see today, was initiated. She believes that the knowledge she gained through researching is her most important achievement.

Ankita always thinks about what more things she can research. Currently, she has done about 7 to 8 researches and looking forward to doing apply for a government job.

She enjoys meeting new people and considers it as the best thing about the profession she chose for herself. She says that all her seniors who supported her and the potential knowledge that is waiting for her, are her motivation.
