This article is about India’s first “Van Family”
The family consists of – Ashok, his wife Prabha Ashok and their four-year-old son, Abijosh.
The family originally belongs to Tamil Nadu.
The reason they have acquired the limelight is for travelling across the country in their van for 100 days. To date, they have successfully travelled 15,000 kilometers and visited 28 states and 4 Union Territories.
For their daily chores, the family has a technically equipped car, with all essentials. They have all the cooking essentials from the stove with cylinder to water. They have living essentials fan, bed, light. All in all they have everything required to sustain a comfortable living. Other people make long plans for camping. Excitingly, this family installs a camp at every favorable location to stay.
However, in unfavorable cases, they slept in cars and bathed in petrol bunks. They experienced an exciting journey with a simple routine. Overall, the family believed in living each moment. They have experiances from starry nights in the Thar Desert to the First snow in Kashmir.
Despite hurdles and challenges, the “Van Family” is living a life lesser imagined to be lived. Their journey is incredible. The best part is that their entire journey is documented on their YouTube channel.
