If you are sitting there thinking you have so many things you need/want to change in order to lose fat and you have no clue as to how to begin, just grab a cup of coffee and read these basic tips.Fat loss is not complicated, it’s actually pretty simple. ⠀

Here are the 5 basic principles of fat loss by @reshape_by_avneet

1.Calorie deficit: You just have to be in calorie deficit if you want to lose fat i.e to eat less than you spend. FYI healthy foods like nuts,fruits,milk and curd etc etc have calories too and they count. So don’t overeat them. No detox water, lukewarm lemon water and green tea’s(yes they have health benefits) can make you lose fat if you are in calorie surplus.⠀

2.Protein,veggies and fruits: Protein will help you to maintain your muscle while you lose fat(so so important). Include chicken,eggs,fish,milk, planner, cheese, curd, soya etc in your meals.Veggies like broccoli, cabbage, spinach etc will add the volume and keep the hunger at bay and fruits will fulfil your nutrient requirements.⠀


3.Strength training: Get strong and move everyday. Give yourself some performance goals at the gym. Maybe you want to increase your deadlift or do your first push-up or chin-up or whatever it may be. Just focus on your goals.⠀

4. Be consistent: Consistency is what truly matters. It’s ok to go out and enjoy with your friends and family and have your favourite pizza and beer but get back on track the very next meal. As simple as that.⠀


5.Patience- patience is the hardest part. But really what’s the rush? You did not put on 30lbs in a month. So don’t expect to lose it in same time. Don’t care how long it takes, just keep going.⠀
