PROFESSION?
I belong to a business family in Korba, whereas my roots are in Chandigarh. I always aspired to become a doctor. Paving the way toward my ambition, I pursued Dental graduation and a master’s from Panjab University, Chandigarh.

IN YOUR OPINION, WHAT CHARACTERIZES A GOOD AESTHETICIAN? IS AGE A FACTOR OF RELIABILITY FOR A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL?
Knowledge and Experience. At times, based on perceptions, age matters! The older ones are comparatively considered more trustworthy. Being a young practitioner, I do face similar situations. Often my proficiency is under the radar. I, on the contrary, toil harder to break this myth. I am crystal clear on what I am injecting and how I’m doing it. The diversities of experience I possess, from fellowships including in Europe and London, and hands-on more than 100 Botox and injectable treatments (and counting), uphold my credibility, and the same goes for every medical professional.
THERE IS A TYPICAL FEAR ABOUT INJECTABLES, ESPECIALLY IN WOMEN, HOW DO YOU PREPARE CLIENTS TO HAVE A RELAXED MINDSET BEFORE THE PROCEDURES?
Yes, I feel the same. Even my mom agrees!
We prioritize patient comfort above all. For a pain-free experience, a numbing cream is applied to the treatment area before the procedure. To further minimize the sting, a thin and easily penetrable insulin syringe is used as an injector.
To foster their confidence, we explain the entire procedure via a comprehensive counseling session and undertake their consent. We guide them for pre- and post-procedure regimes with personal attention to each client.
THERE ARE CERTAIN MYTHS AND TABOOS RELATED TO AESTHETIC TREATMENTS. HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH THEM?
Yes!
Often there is a hush-hush behind the treatments; people’s approach is to implicate ‘no one needs to know and instead, flaunt their skin saying, ‘Everything is natural”. The treatments are tagged on one hand as addictive, and on the other as a trap or disease-causing, going as far as to say they can be cancerous.

In addition to protecting from sun damage, it protects the skin from damage due to screen exposure and slows down skin aging. Just sunscreen and a good moisturizer are enough to maintain good skin throughout.
ARE AESTHETIC TREATMENTS GENDER OR AGE-BIASED?
Not at all. These treatments are for all-inclusive human beings
There is no gender polarity for wrinkles, fine lines, and tanning. Certainly, products may vary according to skin type.
Surprisingly, we have more male clients for laser and PRP treatments than females
As for age, anyone who is 16 and above is welcome!
