Meet Lyricist and vocalist Harsh Dubey and his band 432 Hz

I started as a lyricist in 2012 when I heard a motivational speaker say “If you think you are creative try making your song for once.” I realized it was fun. A couple of years later I witnessed Alpviraam 1.0 event which was the underground music scene to promote independent artists and bands, that experience was enough to form my rock band. The music community I got introduced to was full of mind-blowing musicians who loved experimenting, had their style, and also never bothered to play commercial songs. A strong healthy competitive atmosphere to prove who is the top band of the state and yet ready to support each other. I along with my other 4 friends formed “432Hertz”. The love for stage performances brought 5 of us together in 2019 as we were tired to see how almost all new musicians were driven by commercial music and lost the enthusiasm for creating their own. Sweating on Jams for hours and bursting our heads for months composing songs helped us get little attention from the music lovers. Our band won the War of band competition of IIT Bhilai (Fest-Miraki 2019) and AIIMS Raipur (Fest-Oriana2019). We also got the opportunity to feature at the End of Decade event by C.G. Rock Association and headlining in Night Bazar. We performed as the host band for Alpviraam 6.0. In this small journey, we saw new artists getting inspired by us, and working hard to perform in their style made us feel honored as we could do our part in keeping the rock music scene alive. Our message for all new artists is “support each other and add lots of creativity in what you do to make your own identity”, and to the listeners “Support all local events and artists because (Scene Banane se Banta hai )”.
