Wet on wet -wet paint disperses into the wet wash produce beautiful diffused textures
Wet on dry- with wet on dry you can paint gradients on color

Dry on Dry- Also known as dry brush technique great for textures

Dry on Wet – produce subtle details, paint with slightly damp brush on a wet surface
