Hola everyone, This is Muneeta Aneja, currently working as a Public Relations Content Writer for Samvaad, DPR, (Jansampark Chhattisgarh) as my full-time profession. Occasionally, I write journalistic articles and editorial pieces for leading English dailies as well. Managing Digital content creation, while handling the external PR campaigns of top brands is something that brings a dash of spark to my life.
So what are Public Relations? Are our advertising & public relations similar to each other, or way different? PR is a strategic and holistic way to spread the word about your business, it is the well-planned effort to create a good corporate image & an excellent brand identity in front of your target audience. It is an effort to cultivate mutual understanding between the public, and the organization. PR is much cheaper and more authentic & genuine in approach than advertising.
My job as a PR Content Writer in Samvaad, DPR is a 24/7 job. You need a flexible jawline to handle the hectic roles and responsibilities of this world.
From issuing press releases, forming interactive and luring content for all kinds of the target audience, according to various mediums, writing editorials & feature articles for It’s publishing in leading national and international dailies, managing interviews, press conferences & briefings, preparing draft proposals for the formulation of schemes to their publicity on various mediums like print, electronic, digital, and social media.
You need to do it all. At times, you need to manage the social media handles of your respective department and various dignitaries and be interactive, quick, and responsive by framing tweets, templates, or posters and informing the public about the latest updates.
