Journalism:The Need and It’s Meaning
There was a time when journalism was the basic foundation by confirming information, testing its truth, and passing related events to the news. But today the challenges in this field have suddenly increased. People are now getting information through social media about any incident happening in the area. In this case, fake news has also made a place. This is the main challenge of today’s journalism. In the era of fake news, it has become necessary to convey the truth to the people through newspapers or news channels. An example of how deadly fake news can be has been seen as mob lynching.
Apart from this, the 5W + 1H formula (who, what, where, when, why, how) is used in questions related to news in journalism, there is a need to add a new part in it and that is interest ( i) ie- 5W + 1H + 1i

Today, people read news only if the reader has an interest in that subject. Therefore, taking care of the interest of the newsreader has also become a big need for journalism. Journalism started with service, has developed into a career today. Its craze among the youth has increased over time. Today, there have been many mediums of journalism too; Such as – newspapers, magazines, radio, TV, web-journalism, etc.

Journalism Language:
The language of journalism and literature is different. The language of journalism is that the matter can reach people in a clear, simple, and easy way. In the language of literature, the author is independent because it is his work, but in the writing media, an institution is addressed to a wider public. A journalist aims to reach out to millions of people, they can understand it, demonstrating knowledge of the language is not journalism. The good and beautiful words of journalism are understood by the readers, viewers, or listeners. There is always a duality between being precise and simple. Just say the important thing and do not create jargon.

Originality:
The most important thing in journalism is curiosity, from where an original report starts. If you do not have the desire to understand deeply, then you are wasting time. Basic journalism is not for you. You have to practice finding your original report
