Low blood pressure can lead to minor consequences such as dizziness, exhaustion, blurred vision, nausea, and even fainting. Low BP is usually seen in people who are physically less active or those who spend most of the time alone, sitting, and sleeping.

They are mostly in the Tamasik state. Today, I would share some excellent remedies to manage this low blood pressure.

Drink Mulethi tea

Mulethi is a powerful herb that helps to normalize low blood pressure. Low blood pressure is usually caused by low, cortisol levels it contains a compound that helps to inhibit the function of the enzyme that breaks down cortisol. To treat low BP, drink this multi tea every day.

Mulethi or licorice is available in powdered form in a dry form. So, dissolve this in boiling water, boil it for 10-15 minutes, cool it down, and then drink it. You should cool it slightly, filter it, and then consume it.

Chew Tulsi leaves.

The antioxidant eugenol, which is presented in Tulsi leaves, helps in elevating low blood pressure levels. Tulsi leaves are also high in potassium, magnesium, vitamin C, and vitamin B5, and all of this helps to regulate blood pressure.

Every morning chew 4- fresh leaves of tulsi or drink a spoonful of Tulsi extract with honey first in the morning.

Increase folate intake.

A folate deficiency can cause weakness fatigue, difficulty in concentration, irritability, and anemia and all this will lead to low blood pressure.

So eat more, folate-rich food, such as leafy, green vegetables, like broccoli, spinach, tomatoes, brussels sprouts, peas, citrus fruits, like oranges and lemon, and fruits, like bananas and melon.

Increase your salt intake to control low blood pressure

A person with low blood pressure often has a low sodium level in his body. Hence, they should increase their salt intake as sodium helps to bring up the pressure.

Opt for healthy alternatives such as sea salt or Himalayan pink salt. Try and cook meals and sprinkle these salts on salad.

Increase your salt intake mindfully as an excessive amount of salt in your diet, will lead to water retention in your body, it would bring high blood pressure and even cardiac problem.

Whenever you are experiencing low, BP symptoms, have a salty snack or take some little salt to normalize your BP. Maybe just take a lemon juice with salt and little honey and that would be wonderful.

Skip long hot showers

A long duration of exposure to hot water can make you get dizzy. So preferably take baths with lukewarm water and keep your bathing, time short.

Also for safety, keep a stool in the bathroom, sit and take bath. This will prevent you from collapsing on the floor and naturally injuring yourself.

Drink more water to cure low blood pressure

Drinking water increases plasma norepinephrine that is responsible for many important functions, including increased, blood pressure.

Water can help increase blood volume as well prevent dehydration, both of which are essential in managing low BP.

Make it a habit to drink, 8 to 10 glasses of water daily. But remember to drink water slowly sitting and not hastily.

Avoid abrupt changes in your body position

Remember always sit up or stand straight at a moderate pace not suddenly because when someone abruptly rises from lying down or sitting there is a quick drop in blood pressure which can lead to lightheadedness and dizziness.

This happens because our cardiovascular and our nervous system fails to respond to this sudden shift. So when you are lying down first turn to your side, with the support of your hand, slowly get up and don’t get up suddenly

Spend time in nature.

If you experience low BP symptoms quite often, you should increase your outdoor exposure. Each morning, step out of your house and soak in the goodness of nature.

Walking in nature would help you stay active and your pressure also would remain balanced. Also, be active in life.

Follow yoga, do some asanas, do some pranayama and you must have some hobby where you would be spending some half an hour to one hour time on your hobby, that also would work wonders. Understand our body communicates to us through various signals.

So pay attention to your body language and take preventative or treatment action immediately.
Follow all these simple tips and effectively manage, your low BP condition.

Remember an inactive and sluggish mind can cause low blood pressure.
So keep your mind engaged always because a free mind is not right. The mind should be engaged learning something every day would be beautiful.

Reading some good literature would be fine, listening to some nice healthy talks would be lovely, and then writing whatever you have heard, whatever you have learned, all these things would help.

So a person should be engaged in physical activities, such as walking in nature, doing asana, doing pranayama and this way keep your body & mind both active and happy.

Maintain an active and early morning routine to stay energized and avoid low blood pressure.
